When I started taking marketing classes in college, I was shocked by the amount of common items, phrases and traditions in western culture that were the results of excellent marketing campaigns.

I decided to combine my passions for marketing and true crime podcasts to highlight my research on strange marketing campaigns that cemented themselves in popular culture. From celebrity "drama" to the cultural influence of the banana, PR campaigns shift the way we see the world.

I have always loved investigating unusual subjects and trying to solve mysteries. Naturally, I became a fan of podcasts; inquisitve minds seem to gravitate to them (if you don't believe me, check out this article from Business Insider)!
